Remember how, in high school, we couldn’t wait to grow up? We were so ready to be adults so that we could do what we wanted, whenever we wanted, and wear the clothes, and body accessories, we chose to wear. Or so we thought, until we got our first grown-up jobs, where the interviewing managers told us that if we had visible piercings and tattoos, they could not hire us. WTF???
March 1 marked the anniversary of the beginning of a horrible era in history: the start of the witch trials. However, that’s not the only notable date on Massachusetts’ timeline. Over the next couple of months, the town of Salem will acknowledge several crucial dates in the history of the Witch Trials.
